Based on the multi-annual experience of Roussakis SA company in the area of World Shipping and the International Trade of Ship Spare Parts, with 300 customers and 200 suppliers all over the world, a Pioneering and completely Automated Application of Information and Ship Spare Parts Management was created. The company named WRS Ltd (Wide Range Serve) manufactured a new automated internet based application though which customers (mainly shipping companies) import their Requests for Quotations and based on some criteria, the requests are automatically distributed in suppliers all over the world.

The MRKPlace system connects one Demand with hundreds oh Offers in Real Time. All demands and offers are distributed in Real Time and Automatically without human factor intervention. This system does not replace any other application which is in use, it simply provides an additional aid. This system is a channel of Automatic and Rapid Information Transmission in order to find the Right Product, the Right Time, in the Right Place, in the Right Price, in the Right Condition by using the less possible effort.

WRS Ltd  aim is to renew continuously system’s database with customers and suppliers, so when a customer asks for an urgent spare part finding, to have the most rapid information as for the availability and price, not only by representatives, but also by manufacturers, by storehouse suppliers, by repairers even by scrap yards. WRS Ltd is MRKplace system’s administrator and in charge for new data input of customers and suppliers. The company receives from the system’s subscribers (both by customers and suppliers) an annual subscription fee for access.
